Purpose of Worship at Bethany: The primary purpose of worship at Bethany is to Love God. Services are spirit led and intergenerational. Members are encouraged to actively participate in the service by using their gifts. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37) Worship Opportunities: There are many ways to be involved in worship at Bethany. Worship Team: We are always looking for instrumentalists and vocalists to be part of the team. This requires a commitment of Wednesday night practices as well as Sunday morning practices at least once a month. Creative Movements Team: Led by Liz Culver, this team participates in one service a month by adding creative movements to one of our praise and worship songs. Visual Arts Team: This team works with the worship planning team to create visuals for service themes throughout the year. Sound Team: This team helps maintain the sound system as well as train new sound technicians. Projection and Sound Technicians: These people run the PowerPoint and any other visual programs needed during the service. They also run the sound system. Adult Choirs: Several times during the year we have adult bell choirs and vocal choirs. Practices are usually for 4-6 weeks, an hour per week before the performance in church.
